NEW CONSTRUCTION
For new construction projects, we have specific preparation processes that involve preparing the subfloor prior to installing Eco-Grip sheets. It’s important that the subfloor is both smooth and dry. Additionally, the subfloor needs to be sloped correctly toward all drains before installing the finished floor. Overall, the scope of work for new construction is focused on floor preparation prior to the installation of the new Eco-Grip floor.
REMODEL
During a shutdown remodel, kitchen equipment is typically removed and the venue remains closed for several days. Other work, such as drywall and plumbing, may also be taking place during this time. The flooring mechanic is then able to conduct prep work with minimal interruption. The install process includes prep work on the subfloors, removal of existing wall base, and installation of new flooring. Remodel projects typically follow a general schedule of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
RETROFIT
Retrofit flooring was initially created to help restaurant owners renovate their kitchens, bars, and coolers without having to shut down their businesses. With our innovative system, we are able to demo, prep, move equipment, and install new flooring in small sections allowing us to complete an entire section in one night. This means we can come back on subsequent nights and repeat the same process until the entire job is completed. This technique has proven to be extremely advantageous to our customers, as they are able to keep their businesses operating while we work on improving their facilities.
